GIANNELLI have been producing exhausts for many years and offer
a huge range of systems for many models of scooter. Most are fully
homologated, with Kevlar, Carbon Fibre, or Alloy Mufflers, giving
riders the optimum in Quality, Style and Performance. GIANNELLI

looks, durability, and most of all performance.
"Next". Our new exhaust line for
scooters called NEXT (with street-legal EEC homologation), is
characterized by its excellent performance and it acceptable price.
The body is made using a hydraulic press and special moulds and
is welded together by robots using the M.I.G. technique. Externally,
the exhaust is protected by the same transparent varnish used
in superbike competition. The exhaust is completed by an efficient
silencer in glazed aluminium with a chromed end.
The FREEDOM range is the latest addition to Giannelli
Silencers’ homologated exhausts projected for the scooter
of the next generation, made using the highest quality materials
which assure reliability while minimise the weight. The inside
parts are totally made in stainless steel AISI 304 while for the
sound proof material has been used a silicon dioxide mat (E-Sil)
resistant to 1200° which keeps the noise within the limits
allowed by the European regulations. All components, from the
cylinder bushing to the silencer bracket, are produced and tested
in order to resist to the continuos stress of the bike. The final
finishing is made by a first coat of PRIMER painting resistant
to the high temperatures and completed by a second coat of black
painting . The aluminium satin finished heat protection, give
to the exhaust an attractive look.
The “Reverse” exhaust series are
new exhausts developed by Giannelli's R&D department to offer
a technologically advanced scooter exhaust. All “Reverse”
exhausts are homologated according to EEC parameters. It has a
handcrafted body and a silencer made of stainless steel covered
by a Kevlar shell. The main body of the exhaust is made of special
steel 10/10, and welded using the oxyacetylene process. It contains
a perforated counter cone covered with sound absorbent material
specifically made to guarantee maximum performance and contained
noise emissions. The look of the system is clearly aggressive
and racing provided by the transparent protective paint which
doesn't hide the welding and the colour of the material used.
The replacement of stock transmission springs and rolls with the
ones included in the exhaust kit will further enhance the scooter's
performance.
Sprint 100. A range of exhaust systems which
is aesthetically similar to the original but with a more sporty
look. It is available in the racing version or homologated CEE
e3 for some models. Particularly adapted to best take advantage
of the performance of 100cc 2 stroke engines, it is made of P04
steel with insulated bodies assembled with the M.I.G system by
robots and the end silencer is made of aluminium. The exhaust
system is protected by black heat resistant paint. The torque
and the acceleration reach the best performances without any special
setup.
"Go" the range for scooters for whoever
requires an economical exhaust system with the same characteristics
as the original one. They are made from P04 steel sheets with
the body assembled with M.I.G soldering by robot. They have mechanical
internal silencers and are protected by heat resistant black paint.
They don’t need any setup for optimising the torque and
the acceleration.
The Free Way range for maxi scooters has been
designed with particular attention to CEE e3 directive. The use
of special material and the exceptional mechanical silencer take
this range for scooters to the top of the market. The aluminium
heat guard and the black heat resistant paint give an appealing
look to this exhaust system.
The smile series was designed for scooter owners
who require a CEE e3 homologated exhaust system which is aesthetically
similar to the original one. The soundproofing has been carried
out using avant garde materials studied to contain noise with
maximum efficiency and to guarantee an increased life of the exhaust
system. The bodies are made of P04 steel and are mounted with
the M.I.G system by robots. They have mechanical internal silencers
and each system is supplied with its homologation certificate.
Although “Smile” respects all road regulations and
noise limitation, still keep good performance to the low and medium
revolutions.
The “Extra” line of exhausts is a
of high quality product with an excellent quality/price relationship.
It is homologated according to EEC parameters and is made for
all models. Its main body is built according to the most sophisticated
robotic M.I.G. welding process. A perforated counter cone specifically
designed to enhance the exhaust's performance is placed inside
in order to obtain the best performance possible for a street
legal exhaust. The exhaust's terminal is reversed. The silencer
is made of carbon and has a chromed end cap and tail pipe. These
details give the exhaust an aggressive and sporty look, whilst
maintaining the level of noise emissions within the limits established
by European laws. Replacing the scooter's stock transmission springs
and rolls with the ones supplied in the Giannelli exhaust kit
can further enhance the scooter's performance.
MaxiScooter is the new line of exhausts developed
by Giannelli Silencers for four-strokes scooters of the latest
generation with an engine displacement of 125cc or bigger. This
line has been developed to offer a top quality scooter exhaust
using the experience gained in making sportbike exhausts. This
exhaust combines great quality to an avant-garde design and a
perceivable performance increase at low, medium and high revs.
The exhaust is composed of a silencer with an Oval pro?le, which
can be either in titanium or aluminium The exhaust’s internal
core is a semi-direct one and is built in stainless steel of the
highest quality. The core is covered by sound absorbent material
appositely developed and tested to resist mechanical vibrations
and high temperatures.
